Polaroid Paintings

Polaroid Paintings began out of two things: a whimsical color book and a heaping pile of crap Polaroid film.
Years ago I bought the Colorstrology book. A fun book made by AUTHPR HERE that puts Pantone colors on every day of the year. I found a lot of enjoyment out of this bright book since I adore color and seeing all the different hues inspired me.
When it came to the Polaroids, I love taking pictures. Documenting big events, days out with friends and family, and silly moments. Sometimes, though, the photos wouldn't come out right or there were people that I just didn't have contact with anymore. So, I decided to combine the two; pick a day in the book for a small illustration solely based on that color and paint it onto some old Polaroid film.
Now I get to enjoy creating a small, colorful painting
and you can find your birthday!
